www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk 66 Claypath, Durham, Co Durham

Claypath is one of the oldest and historic roads within the City of Durham.

Since medieval times it was the main route for both pilgrims on their way to the cathedral and merchants selling their wares in the market place.

All rooms have colour TV, Radio, Alarm Clock and Hair Dryer. Tea and Coffee is provided on request. Continental or full English breakfasts are included and we will be happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements. Evening meals, snacks for late arrivals & packed lunches are available by prior arrangement.
The street was once very busy and lined with drinking houses, tradesmen and the workshops of artisans. However, since the construction of the bypass Claypath is perhaps now enjoying the quietest period in its long history.

We believe No. 66 is ideally located for exploring not just the City of Durham but all that the Northeast has to offer.
We are a short walk from the new Gala Theatre, Durham's Market Square, Cathedral, Castle and riverside walks. Close by are some of Durham's best restaurants and pubs.
