Chestnuts Cottage is a picturesque Grade 11 listed 250 year old period thatched cottage, on the edge of a small village in the vale of Pewsey, an “area of outstanding natural beauty”.

The rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished with antiques and feature beams and inglenook fireplaces.

A special attraction is the prize winning cottage garden. It is located in a designated “quiet lane” leading to the 13th Century Village Church and River Avon. The cottage enjoys views over open fields and paddocks to the Wessex Downs and Salisbury Plain.
There are four attractive pubs within one mile serving good pub food, and a choice of recommended restaurants within easy reach by car. There is also a Michelin star pub within 2 and a half miles.

Rushall is conveniently situated for visiting many tourist attractions.
Trout fishing can be arranged on the River Avon throughout the year on Manningford Lakes. Riding, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Golf and Tennis can also be arranged locally. The quiet lanes of the Vale of Pewsey are ideal for cycling whilst walkers can explore the beautiful Wessex Downs, Salisbury Plain, The Avon Valley and the Kennet & Avon Canal.
