The Old Ferry Inn, Bodinnick, Fowey, Cornwall
The Old Ferry Inn can be found in the pretty village of Bodinnick on the banks of the Fowey River Estuary. We have a warm and relaxed atmosphere and are an ideal base for those exploring Cornwall. We are ideally located for those who want to visit Fowey or walkers for the South West Coastal Footpath.
We have a mixture of rooms available to suit all, so whether you are a solo traveller, couple, friends or a family – we can accommodate you.
Breakfast is included within the room rate and is served in our dining room. It is freshly prepared each morning and we are happy to cater to special dietary requirements – please just advise when booking. Residents and non-residents are welcome to visit us. We are open all day and serve a variety of meals and snacks.
The bar has a traditional feel and in the winter months we light the log burning stove. What better way to end the day after exploring the area, than with a Cornish ale or cider, in front of the stove with some hearty home-cooked food. Equally, our sun terraces are fantastic dining and drinking areas. Here you can take in the stunning harbour views whilst dining al fresco.
Bodinnick is well situated to take advantage of everything beautiful Cornwall has to offer, especially sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, fishing, walking, golf, historic houses and numerous gardens open to the public or for simply taking a well-earned rest. The Fowey River is navigable for five miles and a delightful day can be spent exploring the creeks and tributaries amongst some of the quietest and lushest scenery in Cornwall.
