Elmswood House is a superb guest house set in attractive gardens in Tywardreath, Cornwall. This B&B is on the Cornish Riviera, just 4 miles from Fowey and the Eden Project, making it the perfect base for exploring the local area.
Locally sourced produce is used in the kitchen, including cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices, award-winning sausages and bacon from a local butcher. Delicious local eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, tea, coffee, toast, homemade marmalade and preserves are also provided.
This lovely rural Cornish village was an inspiration for Daphne Du Maurier’s classic novel ‘The House on the Strand’. The sweeping valley landscape offers beautiful countryside views, whilst the village is well served by a selection of shops and local pubs.
A variety of great attractions are in the local area, including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House, China Clay Museum, Minack Theatre & St Michaels’s Mount.
