The Manor House, Brassington, Matlock, Derbyshire
The Manor House can be found in the picturesque village of Brassington, near Matlock in Derbyshire. It provides guests with luxurious, adult-only, B&B accommodation that is ideal for those who want to visit the Peak District and the many attractions in the surrounding area.
This Grade II Listed property comes with original features whilst offering modern accommodation. The spacious & lavishly furnished B&B rooms make for a truly unique break. There are 3 guest rooms available: the 1st is the largest room which has a sizeable French bed. This room also has an en suite just as big with a vintage roll top bath in the centre of the room. The second B&B room has a French feel with a vintage French bed and an en suite wooden panelling. Both of the en suite guest rooms have a shower and a bath.
In the morning, enjoy a full English breakfast in the lovely dining room which has a large stone fireplace surrounded by antique portraits. In the evenings, you can stroll a few hundred yards to The Old Gate Inn, a lovely traditional pub (over 400 years old) with a fantastic menu.
Within easy reach of The Manor House there are lots of attractions to visit. This includes Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Carsington Water, Calke Abbey & Hardwick Hall, to name but a few.
If you then fancy a break from sightseeing you can always enjoy a spectacular walk through the Peak District National Park.
