The Dunbar to Dunglass section of the John Muir Walkway passes within 300 metres, while the Southern Upland Way finishes less than 2 miles of the house.
East Lothian is a treat for the keen golfer. Known as Scotland's Golf Coast, this world-renowned area boasts more than 20 different courses, including Muirfield, the home of the 2016 British Open. Nearby North Berwick is a qualifying course for the British Open, while new course Archerfield is tipped to host the Scottish Open in the future. Slightly further afield, you have The Musselburgh Links, in Musselburgh, the oldest golf course in the world.
