Commonwood Manor, Looe, Cornwall
Commonwood Manor is situated in Looe and is a home away from home, perfect for a relaxing break away. It has a swimming pool, gym and sauna available and the hosts aim to do their utmost to ensure your visit is a memorable one, from start to finish.
The guest house lies on the edge of Looe, a historic Cornish fishing village dating from the 12th Century. Carved into the hillside overlooking the East Looe River, this six-acre property has breathtaking views over the water and countryside beyond, yet is only a 10-minute walk from the town, harbour, beach and sea.
Originally built around 1890 as a Victorian family villa of uncompromising architecture, this wonderful 10 bedroom house has a spacious elegance and magnificent relaxed air about it.
Located on the ground floor of the house are the restaurant, lounge bar and sitting room complete with a panoramic terrace overlooking the water (when the tide is in that is!). Drinks are served al fresco when possible. You may perhaps enjoy relaxing by the pool nestled in a suntrap or enjoy some peace in the gardens and woodland.
