Craiglea Bed & Breakfast is situated on a quiet lane close to the centre of the village of Braemar in beautiful Aberdeenshire. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, woodland, castles, whisky distilleries and wildlife a plenty, our property and Braemar has something for everyone.
On arrival, guests can enjoy a welcome drink and home bake in the living room whilst reading up about the local area with our extensive selection of information.
We have 3 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. One room has a double and a single. The deluxe double bedroom has a bath and shower. All rooms boast en suite facilities, tea and coffee hospitality tray, television, radio alarm, hairdryer, toiletries, tourist information and Wi-Fi. One of the spacious double rooms has a large corner bath.

We offer a substantial full Scottish breakfast or Continental breakfast which is included in the price. Vegetarian and coeliac options are available on request. Packed lunches are available by prior arrangement. A drying room is available for outdoor clothing and a boot dryer after a day out in the hills.
We are ideally situated for walking, cycling, golf, skiing and of course sightseeing. Braemar has some of the finest mountain scenery anywhere in the country. One major attraction of the area is the Glenshee Ski Centre. Equipment is available to hire at Skibraemar which is just around the corner.
Local attractions include the Queen’s summer residence of Balmoral and the beautiful Braemar Castle. Natural wonders include The Linn of Dee, a narrow gorge on the river Dee about 6 miles west of Braemar, whilst the Linn of Quoich is a narrow chasm on the river Quoich and was a favourite place of Queen Victoria's.
