Glede Knowe is a 4-star guest house with an acre of gardens which offers wonderful views over the village of Innerleithen and the Tweed Valley to the hills beyond.

Five of our seven rooms are en suite and two have private bathrooms. All rooms include TV, free wi-fi access, tea/coffee-making facilities, luxury toiletries and a hairdryer.

There is a large guest room where a full Scottish or continental breakfast is served and which also offers a place to relax, perhaps read a book or just enjoy the far-reaching views of the hills. There is also a large patio area outside for guests to enjoy.

The Tweed Valley is a haven for outdoor activities and is ideal for those wanting to explore the area on foot or on a bike. It is also the mountain biking centre of Scotland, where bike hire is available and the trails are easily accessible from the house.

Glede Knowe is close to many historic stately homes and castles such as Traquair, Abbotsford, Thirlstane, Bowhill and Floors which make for fascinating days out and Edinburgh isn’t far away by car, bus or train. There are lots of activities to suit everyone including hill walking, cycling on quiet roads, golf and horse riding.
