South Farm offers bed and breakfast accommodation located in the small settlement of Wingates near the town of Morpeth in Northumberland.
The B&B still boasts some of its original features and has spectacular views over the Simonside Hills, The Cheviots and even the North Sea.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room where there is a range of food available including our own free range eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, full English and much more. Local produce is used wherever possible and all of the food is cooked fresh to order.
The local area has a range of attractions and the nearby town of Alnwick is dominated by the medieval castle which is open to the public. The Alnwick Garden is another popular place and offers waster displays, beautiful flowers and the largest treehouse in Europe.
There are numerous historical houses and castles the area to explore these include Warkworth, Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and Chillingham. Northumberland has miles upon miles of golden sandy beaches that offer great day trips out.
