The Top House Inn, Lizard, Helston, Cornwall
The Top House Inn is the southernmost Inn, in England and offers wonderful accommodation in the charming village of the Lizard. It is ideally located in a fantastic position near Helston, and just a few hundred yards from the Lizard Point. There are a whole host of beaches, attractions, and activities on its doorstep, and close by on the Lizard, as well as within a short driving distance there are some of Cornwall’s most popular attractions.
The Top House Inn offers 8 luxurious bedrooms in a hotel set adjacent to the 200-year-old pub and restaurant. All the rooms have been tastefully furnished and have been recently renovated to the highest standards, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All the rooms include ensuite facilities and super-fast Wi-Fi. If you book directly your breakfast is included and you may also book your evening meal.
Prilla: This ground-floor twin room has a shower over the ensuite bath.
Housel: Our ground-floor double room has a spacious ensuite bathroom with a double walk-in shower.
Kilcobben: This delightful double ensuite shower room is on the first floor.
Polbream: Our spacious family room has a king-size Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk bed and a set of 3’ bunk beds. A large ensuite bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Caerthilian: This first-floor twin room has a shower over the ensuite bath.
Kynance: Our superb second-floor, ensuite shower room boasts lovely sea views.
Pentreath: This second-floor double room has an ensuite shower room.
Polpeor: Our magnificent Presidential Suite is on the second floor and includes a king-size bed and stunning sea views. A sofa bed is also available.
You can savour a wonderful a la carte menu whilst staying with us, including unique dishes and a great specials board. We use as much fresh locally sourced produce as possible, with an emphasis on fish and seafood. Delicious Sunday lunches are available from midday until 4 pm, but no food is served on Sunday evenings. You can also enjoy a drink or two from the bar, including fabulous quality brands, carefully selected wines, and a brilliant selection of St Austell cask ales.
A lovely new feature at Top House Inn is Sutherland’s Vintage Tea Rooms, which offer indulgent homemade cakes, muffins, scones, and freshly made sandwiches for afternoon tea.
This part of the country has an abundance of some of the most beautiful scenery that the UK has to offer. Visit the Lizard Point, a majestic rocky coastline that offers spectacular views or unwind at the scenic Kynance Cove. Wander around the local shops or visit the nearby coastal town of Helston and take a magical ride on the historic Helston Railway.
