Churchdown House, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

Churchdown House, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

Churchdown House is situated in a quiet historic no through road close to the castle and gardens in the centre of Bridgnorth in Shropshire. Churchdown House is ideally suited to frequent business guests as well as holidaying visitors.

Bridgnorth lies between the commercial areas of Telford, Wolverhampton and the Black Country and is within easy reach of Birmingham Airport.

Guests can expect full office facilities - including colour printing and wireless internet - while those with rather more opportunity for relaxation can spend a little time enjoying Bridgnorth and its wonderful surrounding countryside and of course, the Georgian Churchdown House, its comfort and its fine Shropshire breakfasts!

Bridgnorth, in reality, is two towns: the High Town (good views down) and the Low Town (good views up). Now connected by the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain. The Low Town was once a thriving port along the banks of the River Severn, while the High Town held the castle, the churches, and many fine 16th and 17th-century mansions.
