St George's Guest House, St Peter Port, Guernsey

St George's Guest House, St Peter Port, Guernsey

St George's Guest House in St Peter Port is a quaint family-run guest house that has spectacular views of the picturesque seafront as well as the neighbouring islands of Sark, Herm and Jersey. It is situated on St George’s Esplanade in Guernsey and is a wonderful place to base yourself when exploring the Channel Islands.

The owners know how important breakfast is, so ensure you start the day right. You will be offered a hearty full English or a continental option. Continental breakfast is only served upon request during the winter months, whereas full English is available all year. Unfortunately, the accommodation does not cater for evening meals, however, there are various restaurants and a pub within walking distance offering a wide choice of cuisine to suit all pockets.

Guernsey is a great destination with lots to see and do whatever time of the year you visit. Whether you are in the market for an early spring break, a summer beach holiday or an autumn visit when the crowds have gone, the island won’t disappoint. This little island has many attractions and places of interest that draw visitors from far and wide.

Hilly St Peter Port with its cobbled streets and Regency architecture is one of the prettiest harbour towns in Europe. It includes 2 of the island’s top attractions in the form of Castle Cornet. The 1st is an 800-year-old fortress that guards the harbour and Hauteville House. Elsewhere, you'll find several absorbing museums dedicated to the German occupation of Guernsey in World War Two.
