Cornish Arms, Pendoggett, Port Isaac, Cornwall

Cornish Arms, Pendoggett, Port Isaac, Cornwall

The 16th Century Cornish Arms in Pendoggett is a popular village inn located just 2 miles from Port Isaac known for the famous Fisherman's Friends Shanty Singers and the Doc Martin Series. All bedrooms and the bar/restaurant were fully refurbished in 2020.

There is parking available for residents on-site and a bus stop outside the door which goes to beautiful Port Isaac for guests who'd prefer not to drive. At the Cornish Arms, the team aim to provide comfortable accommodation in a friendly, relaxed, village atmosphere.

The head chef prepares food made from fresh, local produce. There is a range of real ales, lagers and ciders, as well as guest ales. The menu is short, seasonal and delicious and the focus is on local seafood, particularly Cornish Crab dishes usually featuring what local fishermen catch on the day.

There are numerous local attractions and places of interest to visit around the area. The historic fishing village of Port Isaac is a 40-minute walk through the valley or 5-minute drive away. Padstow is a short drive away and is still a working fishing port and always has a great buzz about it. The Cornish Arms provides a great base from which to explore the beautiful north coast of Cornwall.
