Reines House Bed & Breakfast, Porlock, Somerset, Exmoor National Park
Reines House Bed & Breakfast is located in the very heart of Porlock, a pretty village in Somerset that can be found on Exmoor National Park. There are plenty of things to see and do locally. Whether you want to relax and explore the tea rooms and antique shops or do something more adventurous like horse riding, hiking or sea fishing, Exmoor has it all.
We have 3 guest rooms available, all of which have a homely feel to ensure guests are comfortable during their stay. Each B&B room has been tastefully decorated and furnished and includes a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi internet access.
Breakfast is included within our room rate and is either a full English or continental breakfast. Most of the food served has been produced locally. The sausages and bacon come from the village butcher and even our tea and coffee comes from Porlock's own tea company, 'Miles'. The tea produced in Porlock is blended specially to compliment the local Exmoor water and we are sure you will be able to taste the difference. Although we do not serve evening meals we are able to provide a hearty packed lunch for guests who wish to go out walking or exploring on Exmoor during their stay at Reines House B&B.
Our B&B is a great base for exploring Exmoor and the Somerset countryside.
There are opportunities for most kinds of fishing in the Porlock area, from sea fishing in the Bristol Channel - to fly fishing in one of many local lakes or rivers. Exmoor is covered in footpaths, bridleways and rights of way. For the serious walker, there is the South West Coast path, which runs from Minehead, right around the coast to Dorset. If you are interested in birdwatching or looking at other wildlife, there are a number of different companies offering Landover safaris over Exmoor, providing an opportunity to see some of the wild red deer and Exmoor ponies.
