Avonmore House, South Abbey, Youghal, County Cork
Avonmore House is in a central position, between the five-mile golden beach and Youghal centre with its unique history. The house was one of the first to be built outside this historic walled town and is built on the grounds of the old Franciscan Abbey, which was sacked by the Cromwellian Army. Our elegant Georgian home dates to 1752 and is a lovely place to stay for those who are looking to explore County Cork.
Breakfast is included within our room rate and is cooked fresh to order each morning. Guests are welcome to use the resident's lounge at any time of day, this is a lovely place to relax with a book, reflect on the days' activities or sit and plan your adventures for the day ahead.
