Stone Court, Sulgrave, Banbury, Oxfordshire
Stone Court offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the charming picturesque village of Sulgrave. We are just 7 miles from Banbury and Silverstone.
All guest bedrooms are equipped with an alarm clock/radio, hairdryer, torch (in case of an emergency), digital Freeview TV (some with DVD player) and a fully equipped hospitality tray.
Breakfast is served in the reception/dining room between 07.00 and 09.00 at a long refectory table. We can be flexible but need to know in advance if you would like to take breakfast outside of these times. We offer Continental or Full English breakfast or something in between and will, as far as is practicable, cater for any special diets. Please let us know at the time of booking of any special requirements.
London can be easily reached by train from Banbury (7 miles) within 65 minutes. There are several National Trust properties and Historic houses within easy reach, including our own Sulgrave Manor, the birthplace of George Washington’s ancestors. The village has a shop/post office (2 mins walk), which can be available for cash withdrawals (otherwise nearest cash machine is 7 miles) a church and the Star Inn (5 mins walk), a country style Public House with fine ale and an excellent restaurant. There are also many very good ‘eating’ houses to be found in nearby villages and towns.
