St Lawrence Country Guest House, Tenby, Pembrokeshire
St Lawrence Country House offers 4 Star licensed accommodation just outside the 12th Century walled town of Tenby, close enough to take advantage of all the amenities but far enough away for a peaceful and tranquil night’s rest.
The house itself is set within its own estate of 19 acres and is immaculately presented with 5 en suite guest rooms, a large and comfortable guest lounge with a log burner for the cooler months, and a conservatory/breakfast room with wonderful south facing views of the SSSI site of the Ritec Valley and beyond to the sea and Caldey Island. You are welcome to walk and explore the 19 acres made up of formal gardens, pasture, meadow and woodland, or just sit at one of the many benches and chairs provided for you to enjoy the views and relax.
Renowned for his hand-made artisan breads, Philip makes a different loaf every morning as well as homemade bread for toasting. Breakfast is a combination of home grown and locally sourced produce – the “Girls” provide eggs, the greenhouses provides fresh tomatoes, and the orchards and fruit garden provide a variety of apples, raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, blueberries, strawberries, gooseberries ... plenty of choices for eating fresh and for use in the homemade preserves, jams and marmalades.
The bedrooms include a ground floor luxury en suite bedroom with some disabled facilities (please see the access statement), and there is a luxury suite of rooms for up to four people on the first floor. Most of the bedrooms enjoy wonderful south facing views across the countryside to the sea and Caldey Island, and all the rooms are equipped with fridges, tea & coffee making facilities, TV/DVD/Freeview, hairdryer and binoculars. Quality Egyptian cotton bedding and towels are used and there are complimentary robes in each room.
A home-from-home, St Lawrence House is a luxury bed & breakfast that is the perfect retreat from the outside world and a great place to relax after a long day’s sight-seeing in glorious Pembrokeshire.
