Aultguish Inn, Garve, Highlands, Ross-shire
Aultguish Inn is a remote traditional Scottish roadside inn on the A835, by Glascarnoch Dam between Inverness and Ullapool. The bed and breakfast offers a choice of either courtyard or inn rooms.
The courtyard rooms can be super king-size or twin rooms and have walk-in double shower rooms. The inn rooms have a variety of room types like single, king-size, twins, triple or 4 beds.
Breakfast is served in the eating area of the inn where there is a range of food available, breakfast is served from 7.30am - 9.00am. Meals are available in the evening and the hosts offer local venison, homemade pies and fish and chips amongst other great menu choices.
This bed and breakfast accommodation is surrounded by many mountains and high peaks making this the ideal location for walkers and climbers. There are also many attractions for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts close by. The Glen Ord Distillery is a popular attraction that gives you the chance to see how the whisky is made and even try some. Many guests also enjoy visiting Inverewe Garden & Estate which is a world-famous historical garden that is one of Scotland's most popular botanical attractions.
