Blenheim Lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation with wonderful views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding area. Set in National Trust acres at Bowness-on-Windermere, it is in the heart of the Lake District National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are a variety of rooms available, all stunningly decorated to provide that little bit of luxury we all want when we stay somewhere. There are even two stunning 4 poster bedrooms. Ten of the bedrooms have views to Lake Windermere and The Fells and one has views over the countryside. The rooms all have ensuite shower rooms, some of which are walk-in showers.
When you stay at Blenheim Lodge, a highlight is the quality breakfast you are offered. The hosts use local produce where possible including succulent sausages freshly made by the local butcher. There is so much to see and do in the area, there are lots of lakes to explore and plenty of walking and cycling trails. The B&B is the first one next to and en-route for The Dales Way Footpath, a long-distance walk from Ilkley in North Yorkshire to the Lake District National Park. The accommodation is perched on Brant Fell, with stunning views to the lake and fells from two easily reachable viewpoints: Post Knott (with panoramic views) and Brant Fell (with 360-degree views).
