The charming inn dates from 1638 and has a range of beautifully furnished rooms available including single, twin, double and superior double rooms. The rooms at Ducks are all en suite and most have both baths and showers.
You can savour a fine dining experience at the award-winning restaurant. The hosts offer a variety of exquisite dishes, from seared pork bell with marmalade jus to roast salmon with a clam and vegetable broth. You can enjoy a pre-dinner drink or two at the traditional Scottish pub which is jam-packed with fascinating memorabilia. The hosts serve real ales, a superb collection of malt whiskies and a good selection of wines. Most food is served at the restaurant, but tasty tapas are available in the bar, the ideal accompaniment for watching the golf or rugby on Sky in the TV area.
Aberlady is the ideal base for exploring all that Edinburgh and the Lothian’s have to offer: beautiful countryside, sandy beaches, historic buildings and a number of popular visitor attractions. The inn is the perfect destination for golfers, with an abundance of links courses in the area. In total there are 19 courses within a 15-minute drive, including 10 which have hosted championships.
