Craiglands is the perfect guest house for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Located on the Dales Way, the Lady Anne Way, the Way of the Roses and Tour De Yorkshire routes, it offers facilities for bikers and walkers to relax after a long day in the countryside... whatever the weather! Motorbikes and bicycles have secure storage.
All the centrally heated bedrooms are well furnished and each has a TV with tea, coffee and chocolate making facilities. There are two double rooms, one with a king-size bed and a twin room - all en suite. The one single room has private facilities. The family en suite room sleeps up to 4 people.
The accommodation is noted for its quality breakfasts using local produce and for offering a wide choice including vegetarian options. Packed lunches are available on request.
Grassington in Wharfedale is a picturesque little town and there is much to interest the visitor in the area. It is also an ideal base for exploring the other Dales and further afield.
There are many interesting walks directly from the house for all abilities, ranging from riverside rambles to strenuous hill walking. There is maps and books available for guests' use and the hosts are only too happy to offer advice on walks if required. Guest tickets are available for trout fishing on the local River Wharfe.
