Aboukir Hotel & Bar Restaurant has a friendly and inviting atmosphere and is only a 5 minute walk from Carnoustie High Street and within walking distance of the famous Carnoustie Golf Course.
The hotel is set to accommodate families, tourists and business people alike. All of the guest rooms are tastefully decorated and all have en suite bathrooms with vanity units, power showers and a toilet. Fresh linen is also provided daily. The guest rooms at the hotel include:

The south facing hotel rooms enjoy a view over the River Tay. There are seven rooms in total, of which one is a family room which is set to accommodate a family of up to five. They also have two triple rooms and four other rooms which can be arranged to suit and accommodate up to two people per room.
The hotel restaurant is just a 5 minute walk from Carnoustie High Street and it seats 45 people comfortably. The larger tables can accommodate larger groups of up to 25 people. The range of fine wines is sourced from Matthew Clark, who are suppliers of fine wines from around the world. The well stocked bar, consisting of a prestigious selection of malts from the local Distiller McCallan plus fine wines from around the world which include French Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Spanish Campo Viejo Rioja or Italian Sartori Pinot Grigio, supplied by Waverley. They also have a wide and varied selection of liqueurs in which our staff are highly trained to meet your every need from French Martinis to Mojitos.
Carnoustie is a lovely coastal town in Angus and is well known for its championship golf course. Windsurfing, canoeing and sailing are also enjoyed in the large shallow bay in the town.
