www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk Ascot House, York, North Yorkshire

Ascot House is an attractive Victorian house built in 1869 where the Wood family have welcomed guests for over 20 years.

The city centre is just a 15 minute stroll, or a short bus or taxi ride away, and we provide free, enclosed car parking to the rear of the house.

Free wireless internet is available throughout the property and there is a dedicated customer computer and hardwired network connection with high speed access in reception.

There is a spacious and comfortable 'Residents Lounge' where you can relax, watch television or enjoy a drink from the "Butler's Pantry" courtesy of our residential licence.  Tea and coffee are also served throughout the day in the lounge.

Delicious Traditional and Vegetarian Breakfasts are served to you in our attractive Dining room. Continental options are also available from our buffet with generous portions to start your day.

Should you wish to see a little more of Yorkshire, the Dales to the west, the Moors to the north or our beautiful Yorkshire coast are each an hour's drive away.

June and Keith Wood, resident proprietors, have a lifetime's knowledge and love of York and together with Rob and Shona their son and daughter, are available to help you plan your day should you require it.
