www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk Brook House Farm, Cheddleton, Leek, Staffordshire

Brook House is a 250 acre stock rearing farm. Guests are welcome to watch the cows being milked and the calves being fed (but please bring your wellies).

Below the farm is a brook with abundant wildlife.

All rooms are centrally heated. Guests are served with a full English breakfast in our conservatory which has splendid country views. There is a comfortable lounge with colour television and log fires in season. We are ideal for people working in the area.

In the village of Cheddleton there is a Flint Mill with working water wheels and the Churnet Valley Steam Railway. The Caldon Canal and Staffordshire Way Footpath follow the picturesque Churnet Valley.

Deep Hayes Country Park, Consall Nature Park and the RSPB Coombes Valley Reserve are within the village boundaries. Dovedale, the Manifold Valley and the Roaches Rocks are some of the nearby attractions of the Peak District. There are stately homes such as Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Shugborough and many more within easy reach.
