www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk Stoneypark Bed & Breakfast, Aberfoyle, Stirling

Stoneypark bed and Breakfast in Aberfoyle is a beautiful Victorian Villa (1895) situated in the Trossachs National Park.

Although the house is large and spacious, there are only 3 Guest's bedrooms each of which are individually designed and sympathetically furnished to the era of Stoneypark. The rooms are light and airy and have recently been re-decorated.

Words alone cannot describe how beautiful this part of Scotland is, the village of Aberfoyle nestles in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park; part of the world renowned Trossachs (made famous by Queen Victoria, Rob Roy and Sir Walter Scott). The Trossachs themselves are in the heart of Scotland's first National Park.

Within walking distance you will find yourself at the shores of the same lochs that Rob Roy fought and hid beside. Cycle for a few minutes and you will find hidden lochs and paths that are hardly visited. But don't think you are in the middle of nowhere, Aberfoyle and the Trossachs are unique in giving you the feeling of total escapism, but in reality you are within an hour of the cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh & Perth and Stirling is only 30 minutes by car.
