We
are surrounded by farmland, adjacent to an old manor farmhouse, and a 16th
century church.
The
Oast House was converted to a family home in the 1980’s from its more
traditional use as a farm building for the drying of hops. The Oast house
itself dates back to the late 1800's, and now houses a unique circular kitchen.
The old idiom of ‘going round in circles’ becomes true for any chef of the
house!
The
bed and breakfast has a choice of rooms all with TV, coffee and tea making
facilities. A full English or continental breakfast is served in the
morning.
Mary
and Ian are your hosts, they have built up a wealth of local knowledge and
contacts to make your stay a comfortable and relaxing one. The location of the
bed and breakfast is ideal for those wanting to wind-down and relax in the open
countryside.
