Overcombe House offers award-winning bed and breakfast accommodation at Yelverton in the Dartmoor National Park in Devon.
We have 8 en suite bedrooms where you can relax, unwind and enjoy a good night’s sleep. We have three types of room for you to choose from, your first choice is one of our classic double or classic twin rooms. Our classic rooms are our most spacious & popular due to their size, they can be made up as a six-foot wide double or twin depending on your requirements they also enjoy stunning views. Your second choice is either our standard double room or standard twin room or your third choice is one of our small double rooms. These two rooms are ideal for the solo traveller or couples on a tighter budget.
All of our bedrooms are welcoming, comfortable, individually decorated and well presented & finished as we have tried to anticipate your every need. They have comfortable beds and en suite showers; our standard twin room is also equipped with a bath with shower above.
After enjoying a good night’s sleep you can sit back and relax in our light & airy sun-filled dining room with wonderful views over Dartmoor to enjoy one of our award-winning breakfasts. Breakfast’s at ‘Overcombe House’ are delicious and can only be described as a special treat; we believe in serving fresh food using the best ingredients; this is why your cooked breakfast is always prepared fresh to order & served to your table. To start you can help yourself to our tempting buffet; choices include squeezed fruit juices, a range of cereals, seasonal fresh fruit medley (May to September), citrus mix & yoghurts. After you have chosen what you would like from the buffet and perused the menu we will then take your breakfast order. Whilst we prepare your freshly cooked breakfast you can enjoy the views of Dartmoor & the antics of the many varieties of bird that visit the feeders in the garden.
We are just a short distance from the historic market town of Tavistock & there is easy access to the ancient maritime city of Plymouth; whilst having all the benefits and amenities of Dartmoor National Park & the adjacent Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on our doorstep.
