Farthing Corner is an attractive thatched house in Hampshire that dates from 1420. It is in a beautiful part of Hampshire & set within its own 4-acres of private gardens and woodland within the Test Valley. For those who are looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living, look no further than Farthing Corner. Within comfortable driving distance, you can reach Salisbury, Winchester and many places in Wiltshire.

There are 4 guest rooms available, all of which have been furnished to a high standard. You will find Farrow & Ball colours, Wilton carpet, antique rugs and furnishings, big comfortable beds, crisp, pretty, cotton bed linens and feather duvets and pillows make for a wonderfully relaxing stay. 

The relaxing sitting room has two generous and comfortable sofas set around a large fireplace with a wood-burning stove. There are plenty of books and magazines to read whilst curled up by the fire.

Breakfast is included within the room rate and is cooked fresh on the large kitchen Aga. Please advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

The house has a few acres of woodland, dotted with lovely flowering cherry trees, carpets of snowdrops, spring flowers and a bluebell wood. To the front and side of the house is a lawn and gardens, a vegetable plot (many of which are served for the delicious, home-cooked meals) and a fruit orchard.
