The Rookery Nook Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful retreat in Shere near Guildford in Surrey. Shere is a traditional English village that has ducks on the River Tillingbourne, timbered buildings that date back to the 15th Century and a lovely 12th Century parish church.
Rookery Nook offers a suite of rooms comprising a large double bedroom with vaulted ceiling overlooking the picturesque village square, a luxury private bathroom and a stylish sitting room/TV room overlooking the pretty garden.
Breakfast is served in the dining room between 7.30 and 9.00 am. A full English or continental breakfast is available and the owners use locally sourced produce whenever possible. Special diets can be catered for on request.
The surrounding area of Surrey is a haven for walkers and mountain bikers. The owners are would be happy to pass on their local knowledge of some fantastic paths and trails to explore during your stay. There are also many excellent pubs, a traditional English tea shop and a top-class restaurant within easy walking distance of the bed and breakfast.
