Built over 200 years ago, Notley House was at one time one of several private schools in the Hucclecote area. In 1987 the house was lovingly restored bringing back the original charm with oak beamed ceilings and a homely cottage style appearance whilst also offering modern facilities.
There is a variety of room types available ranging from single, double, family, twin and a self-contained one-bedroom coach house spread that is spread over 2 floors. The family room can be used as a twin.
All rooms have been individually decorated giving a modern feel but keeping much of the old charm of a 200-year-old building with the black oak beams and comfortable furniture.
The self-contained coach house comprises of an upper level with a double bedroom, colour television, clock radio and hairdryer, separate bathroom with mains shower over the bath and a separate toilet. The lower level has a living area with 3 seater sofa, television, DVD player and small square dining table and a newly refurbished galley style kitchen with ceramic hob electric cooker and grill, sink and drainer, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a selection of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment.
Ideally located for the city centre, the Cotswolds, Regency Cheltenham and Gloucester’s historic docks, you can enjoy guest accommodation at a realistic price that includes a hearty English breakfast.
