Lantern Lodge has a fine reputation for its high standard of cuisine, much of which is prepared utilising fresh local produce. Residents can enjoy a full English breakfast, bar snacks at lunchtime, traditional Devon cream teas in the afternoon and a comprehensive dinner menu that offers something to tempt every palate.

Our well-stocked bar offers a full range of drinks to enjoy before and after your meal and you'll discover that our wine list is quite extensive for a small hotel, with a wide selection of wines chosen from around the world.

The village is small but is has beautiful clean and safe beaches. There is a village store with Post Office, local inn (The Hope and Anchor) and a small art gallery. There is a small Methodist Chapel in the old part of Inner Hope Cove and two churches one in Hope Cove and another in the next village of Galmpton, all run week-end services. All of these facilities are within walking distance from the hotel. 

From Hope Cove you can walk miles, inland or along the coastal path.
