Henley is a pretty riverside market town dating back to the 12th century. It makes an ideal centre to explore the Chilterns on foot, by bike or by car. Local attractions include boat trips on the Thames, the award-winning River and Rowing museum, Greys Court (a National Trust property), Stonor Park and the surrounding villages.

Henley also hosts several events during the year including the world famous Royal Regatta, the Music and Arts Festival and Fringe Festival in July, the Food Festival and Artspace in May, the Literature Festival in September and the Rewind Festival in August.
